Merryl F. Weiner, Esq.
Merryl F. Weiner, Esq. has been practicing law since 1988 having been admitted in both New York and New Jersey in June 1988. Merryl is also admitted to practice in both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She attended SUNY Albany where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in the Criminal Justice Field in just three and a half years. She went on to attend New York Law School and received her Juris Doctor Degree in December 1987.
At the beginning of her career she represented various doctors and hospitals in the metropolitan area in the defense of medical malpractice actions and for the past eight years has primarily represented injured parties (plaintiffs) in their claims against doctors and hospitals. She has been counsel in numerous multi-million-dollar brain damage baby malpractice cases and currently specializes in modern trends in medical care, for example, plastic surgery and mammography issues, in addition to birthing injuries in the medical negligence law. Specializing in medical malpractice has allowed her to obtain a critical understanding of medicine, which is necessary to properly handle the medical malpractice lawsuit from inception through trial.
